Accessibility Statement

Last updated:

Rotem Mizrahi - Advanced Cosmetics Clinic is committed to providing an equal and accessible service to all clients, including people with disabilities, and works to make both the website and the studio accessible under the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998 and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013.

Conformance level and standard

This website has been made accessible in accordance with Israeli Standard IS 5568 "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines", at conformance level AA, which is based on the W3C's WCAG 2.0.

Adjustments made to the website

  • Full keyboard operation across every component of the site.
  • A clear, visible indicator of the element holding keyboard focus.
  • A "skip to main content" link at the top of every page.
  • A correct, hierarchical heading structure and landmark regions for screen readers.
  • Colour contrast ratios meeting level AA for all text on the site.
  • Forms with persistent labels, worded error messages and announcement of those errors to screen readers.
  • Alternative text for meaningful images, with decorative images marked as such.
  • Page language and writing direction declared, with full right-to-left support for Hebrew.
  • Correct display at a 320-pixel viewport width and at 200% text enlargement, in both cases without horizontal scrolling or loss of content.
  • Respect for the system preference for reduced motion (prefers-reduced-motion).
  • Moving content — the rotating customer reviews — can be stopped at any time with a visible control, pauses on hover and on keyboard focus, and does not start at all when reduced motion is requested, whether through the system setting or the accessibility menu on this site.
  • No reliance on colour alone to convey information.

How the site was tested

Every accommodation listed above was measured against the live site in Google Chrome: contrast ratios were computed for every text-and-background pairing across all pages, and heading structure, landmarks, element names, reflow at a 320-pixel width and behaviour at 200% text enlargement were all checked.

The site has not yet undergone manual testing with a screen reader (such as NVDA or VoiceOver) or in additional browsers. That testing is planned, and until it is complete we make no claim of full conformance in those environments.

For the best experience, use an up-to-date version of your browser and assistive technology.

Known limitations

Some pages or components may not yet be fully accessible, and third-party content is outside our control. We continue to work on improvements. If you run into difficulty, we would like to hear about it and fix it.

The floating WhatsApp button uses WhatsApp's official brand colours — a white glyph on green — giving a glyph-to-background contrast ratio below 3:1. IS 5568 at level AA, which is based on WCAG 2.0, sets no contrast requirement for graphical components, so this is not a departure from the standard; we chose not to alter the mark's colours because WhatsApp's brand guidelines forbid it. The button carries a full accessible name, a light border separating it from the background, and is operable from the keyboard. On a computer it opens a panel that closes with the Escape key and returns focus to the button; the QR code inside carries alternative text, and a button beside it continues in the browser, so nothing depends on being able to scan. The same telephone number also appears as a dialling link in the footer of every page, so no one has to rely on this button to make contact.

Under Regulation 35(d), the duty to caption and transcribe audio and video content does not apply to a business with turnover below NIS 5,000,000; as at the date of this statement the site contains no audio or video content.

Studio accessibility

The studio is wheelchair accessible: the entrances to the building have stairs, alongside lifts and, at some entrances, escalators, so there is a wheelchair-accessible route to the studio floor. There is an accessible toilet on site, and accessible parking is available nearby. If you need any further adjustment ahead of your visit, please let us know in advance and we will help.
